The great news is coming from Baku, Azerbaijan. Namely, at the presentation of the opportunities of tourism regions, host of the event — Pasha travel, announced a launch of direct flights from Baku to Tivat airport. Flights will operate from 5th of July to the 13th of September.
Representative of Pasha Travel Florian Zengsshimdt pointed out that cooperation in this area would have a positive impact on the intercultural exchange, social and economic life of the two countries.
The additional benefit of this novelty is that Montenegro does not have any visa requirements for Azerbaijani citizens. It is also well-known that Azerbaijan is linked to Montenegro through their project Portonovi in Kumbor (envisioned by: Azmont Investments and Azerbejani company: Socar) which is a new rising star in the area of luxury resort and marina in Montenegro.
Tourism experts forecast that this new flights initiative will have an affirmative impact on the countries of the region, which will, in tourist sense, largely benefit from these flights.
Spokesman for National Tourism Promotion Bureau Kanan Guluzada noted that there is a rising trend of opening new markets in the tourism industry. Some of them are Montenegro, Croatia, China, India and Pakistan
